Families are precious to me. They are where faith is taught, where love is practiced, and where we learn who we are.

Life is busy. Homes are full of noise, schedules, and distractions. I believe that what we choose to place on our walls can gently shape the spirit of our homes. My art is meant to be a reminder to pause, look up, and remember who is leading us.

Jesus Christ Is the Captain of Our Family

There is one painting that taught me this lesson in a very personal way.

It sat on my easel for years. I had finished the clouds, but something about it never felt right. I eventually moved it to the corner and forgot about it.

Years later, in a moment of inspiration, I felt God speak clearly to me. He said, This is how I want to be depicted. I am the captain of your family.

That changed how I saw the painting—and how I see my art.

Jesus Christ is not distant. He is not passive. He leads. He guides. He stands at the helm of our families, ready to bring us safely through whatever storms we face.

Following Christ Brings Families to Safety

When I paint Jesus, I paint Him as strong, kind, and trustworthy—because that is who He is. I want families to see Him not just as a figure from scripture, but as a present leader in their daily lives.

I believe with all my heart that Jesus Christ will lead and guide you and your family to safety. We do not have to know every step ahead of us. We only need to choose to follow Him.

That belief is woven into every brushstroke.

Art That Lives With Your Family

The images we live with matter. They influence our thoughts, our conversations, and the feeling of our homes. When families see Christ portrayed with warmth and confidence, it becomes easier to talk about faith, especially with children. My hope is that my paintings:

  • Encourage conversations about Christ in the home

  • Remind families who they are following

  • Create moments of peace and reflection

  • Strengthen unity and trust in Jesus Christ
