A Calling to Paint Christian Art

Some people paint because they love color. Some paint because they love beauty. I paint because I believe God gave me a calling.

That calling is not just to create art. It is to create Christ-centered art that helps people feel closer to Him.

Paintings That Point Hearts to Jesus

I believe God can use art in quiet ways.

Sometimes a person feels lost. Sometimes someone doesn’t know what they believe. Sometimes someone is lonely, tired, or sick.

My prayer is that these paintings help people:

Find God again

Come closer to Jesus Christ

Feel hope, comfort, and healing

That is why I paint.

Painting: A Prayer-Led Process

Before I begin, I pray. I ask God what He wants me to see. As I paint, I keep coming back to that prayer.

Then, when the painting is finished, I pray again. I ask if He accepts it.

There have been moments where I have felt His response:

“It is good. I accept this. I love you.”

Jesus, as He Wants to Be Seen

When I paint Jesus, I am not trying to make Him feel distant. I want Him to feel close.

  • I paint Jesus with a smile and with light. I feel inspired to show Him this way because I believe it reflects His heart.

  • In my paintings, Jesus is often smiling. The colors are bright and full of hope. When someone sees my work, I want them to feel like they can come to Him.

  • I paint Him this way because I believe this is how Jesus wants to be seen. Not cold. Not unreachable. But loving. Present. And ready to receive anyone.
