AFTER THE STORM
Death, illness, grief, and betrayal are just some of the events in our lives that bring us raging storms. In the thick of the winds and rain, it is hard to see the other side.
We become so engulfed by life’s storms that we forget our Savior. We lose hope of peace at the end of the rain. Rainbows come after the rain but in the thick of the rain, it is almost impossible to imagine the rainbow.
For you and for everyone that you invite into your home. Yongsung Kim painted a rainbow stretched over Christ’s flock. He holds one sheep close on his shoulder. Christ sees the rainbow before we do. He is the hope and light that we need through all of our trials.
