I have admired Be Glad and Rejoice for years and was thrilled when my husband bought it for me. The Jesus I know isn't somber but full of joy and rejoicing. I used this painting as a visual when I presented a General Conference sermon in Relief Society, "Welcome to the church of joy." Many sisters were unfamiliar with Yongsung Kim’s work but were immediately drawn to the joyful Christ.

This is my very favorite. I saw the picture on the wall in a restaurant and as soon as I saw it I started crying… I had to have it. The lady wouldn’t sell it but she told me I could find it online. I went home that night and ordered it plus another that I saw. The quality was so much better than I could’ve thought… I rejoice in my heart because they are here in my bedroom. Thank you so much for using your love of Jesus through your art. It is heart transcending.
