THE HAND OF GOD PAINTING
When our faith dwindles we sink into the watery depths of our personal struggles. The same way that Peter did when he was walking on the water to Jesus Christ. Likewise, when Peter’s doubted, Christ reached to him, and He will do the same for you and me.
The Hand of God was painted by to give hope to the viewer: helping them imagine themselves sinking in the water rather than Peter. Further, Yongsung hoped we would imagine Christ reaching for our hand, instead of Christ reaching for Peter's hand.

CALM AND STARS PAINTING
Running from one event to the next. This world is so fast. Our own world can come crashing to a halt when personal storms rage. Death, illness, loss, and betrayal can lead us into a storm.
The Calm and Stars painting is to remind us of the grand power of Christ, that there is no storm too great! There is no pain too large, that can’t be calmed at Christ’s command. He is in control and He knows our storms. We hope you enjoy the Calm and Stars painting by Yongsung Kim.
YONGSUNG KIM'S JOURNEY

Yongsung Kim spent much of his childhood drawing, and he started painting in middle school. Though he never studied painting formerly, he was blessed with natural talent.

When he became an adult he worried about the path that he should take. With many possible directions, he was not sure which one was for him.

Yongsung Kim received inspiration while painting to lead a life devoted to bringing glory to God and the joy of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through his artwork.
